<h3>राष्ट्रीय साक्षरता केंद्र</h3>&nbsp;राष्ट्रीय साक्षरता मिशन का उद्देश्य है, कि जो व्यक्ति औपचारिक शिक्षा से वंचित रह गए हैं, उसे साक्षरता प्रदान करना|&nbsp;साक्षरता दिलाने का काम विलेज टीचर (VT) का है|साक्षरता एक राष्ट्रीय कार्यक्रम है| साक्षरता की उपलब्धि पूर्णता विलेज टीचर पर निर्भर करती है | यही वह सिपाही हैं जो निरक्षरता के विरुद्ध लड़ते हैं&nbsp;|&nbsp;इसलिए विलेज टीचर के चयन में बड़ी सावधानी बरतनी पड़ती है&nbsp;|&nbsp;विलेज टीचर के रूप में वैसे पढ़े लिखे व्यक्ति को चिन्हित किया जाता है, जो सामाजिक हों जिसकी पढ़ाई कम से कम&nbsp;8&nbsp;से&nbsp;10&nbsp;वर्ष तक की हो, जो बखूबी कुशलता पूर्वक पढ़ लिख सकें, साथ ही साथ सामान्य हिसाब किताब की भी जानकारी रखता हो|&nbsp;जो सामाजिक समरता के साथ बेजिझक बातचीत कर सकें|जब VT का चयन हो जाता है| उसे प्राइमर अध्याय आधारित&nbsp;2&nbsp;दिन का प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता है|&nbsp;VT को प्रशिक्षित करने के लिए (20&nbsp;VT के लिए एक MT) एक मास्टर टीचर होते हैं| मास्टर टीच प्रशिक्षित होते हैं|VT प्रशिक्षण के उपरांत साक्षरता केंद्र का उद्घाटन किसी गणमान्य व्यक्ति से कराना चाहिए|जब साक्षरता केंद्र का संचालन होता है, कई समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ता है|&nbsp;जो शिशिक्षु होते हैं उनके अनुसार समय एवं स्थल का चयन किया जाता है| क्यूंकि आज सामाजिक स्थल का अभाव है, शिशिक्षु के उम्र, लिंग आदि का ख्याल रखा जाता है| पुरुष केंद्र के लिए विलेज टीचर पुरुष एवं महिला केंद्र के लिए विलेज टीचर महिला ही होती हैं|पुरुष केंद्र के लिए समय और स्थल का चयन आसानी से हो जाता है, किंतु महिला केंद्र के लिए समय और स्थान का चयन शिशिक्षु के मतानुसार किया जाता है,&nbsp;क्योंकि महिलाओं के ऊपर घर की जिम्मेदारी बहुत होती है|&nbsp;खाना बनाना, बच्चे का देखभाल करना, फिर घर की कई जवाबदारी भी होती है| उन्हें परिवार के इक्षा के अनुसार ही&nbsp;साक्षरता केंद्र पर जाने की अनुमति मिलती है&nbsp;|जब साक्षरता केंद्र का संचालन होता है,&nbsp;तो साक्षरता गीत साक्षरता ताली, कथा, कहानी आदि से प्रारंभ किया जाता है | साक्षरता केंद्र पर शिशिक्षुओं को गोलाकार में बिठाया जाता है|&nbsp;तथा उसी गोलाकार में VT भी बैठते हैं|&nbsp;शुरू शुरू में साक्षरता केंद्र पर किताब कॉपी नहीं ले जाया जाता है| दो-चार दिन के बाद ही उनके बीच किताब प्रस्तुत करना चाहिए&nbsp;जब वे पढ़ने की मांग करने लगें|&nbsp;साक्षरता केंद्र संचालन की क्रम में बीच-बीच में शिशिक्षु आना बंद कर देते हैं| ऐसी स्थिति में VT उनके अभिभावक के साथ बातचीत कर केंद्र पर भेजने के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं| समय-समय पर ग्राम स्तरीय समिति की बैठक में शिशिक्षु के अभिभावक के भी आमंत्रित किया जाता है| समय-समय पर पंचायत, प्रखंड एवं जिला स्तर के पदाधिकारी, कर्मी के द्वारा साक्षरता केंद्र का निगरानी किया जाता है| जिसका बेहतर परिणाम मिलता है|साक्षरता केंद्र प्रतिदिन&nbsp;1&nbsp;से&nbsp;2&nbsp;घंटा संचालित होता है सप्ताह में&nbsp;1&nbsp;दिन मूल्यांकन का काम भी होता है| इस प्रक्रिया को लगातार जारी रखा जाता है| साक्षरता केंद्र पर पढ़ाई का स्वरूप शब्द से अक्षर की ओर होता है&nbsp;,जबकि स्कूली शिक्षा में अक्षर से शब्द की ओर होता है| इस पद्धति के जन्मदाता पाउलो फ्रेइरे (Paulo Freire) एवं माइल्स&nbsp; होरटन (Myles Horton) हैं जो प्रयोगात्मक विधि है| छह&nbsp; माह में सब साक्षर की श्रेणी में आ जाते हैं| &nbsp;<hr><h2>National Literacy Mission</h2>The objective of the National Literacy Mission is to provide literacy to those who have been deprived of formal education. The village teacher (VT) is responsible for imparting literacy.Literacy is a national programme. The achievement of literacy completely depends on the village teacher. These are the soldiers who fight against illiteracy. Therefore, great care has to be taken in the selection of village teachers. As a village teacher, such an educated person is identified, who is social, whose education is at least 8 to 10 years, who can read and write efficiently, as well as has knowledge of general accounting. Who can talk freely with social equality.When VT is selected. He is given primer chapter based training for 2 days. There is a master teacher (one MT for 20 VTs) to train the VTs. Master teachers are trained. After VT training, the literacy center should be inaugurated by a dignitary.When the literacy center is run, many problems have to be faced. The time and place are selected according to those who are apprentices. Because today there is a lack of social space, the age, gender etc. of the apprentice are taken care of. For male center, the village teacher is male and for the female center, the village teacher is female.The time and place for the male center is easily selected, but the time and place for the female center is selected according to the opinion of the apprentice, because the responsibility of the household is on the women. Cooking, taking care of the child, then there are many responsibilities of the house. They are allowed to go to the literacy center according to the wishes of the family.When the literacy center is operational, the literacy song is started with a literacy clap, katha, story etc. The apprentices are seated in a circle at the literacy centre. And VT also sits in the same circle.Initially, the book copy is not taken to the literacy center. The book should be presented to them only after a couple of days when they start demanding to read. In the course of operation of literacy centers, apprentices stop coming in between. In such a situation, the VT talks with their guardian and motivates them to send them to the center. From time to time, the guardian of the apprentice is also invited to the meeting of the village level committee. From time to time, the literacy center is monitored by the officials, personnel of Panchayat, Block and District level which gives better results.The literacy center operates for 1 to 2 hours every day, evaluation work is also done 1 day in a week. This process continues. The nature of education at the literacy center is from word to letter, whereas in school education it is from letter to word. The father of this method is Paulo Freire and Miles Horton, which is an experimental method. In six months everyone comes under the category of literate.
